Ferrari 488 GTE Evo

Ferrari has a long, successful history in sports car racing – especially in the GT categories. The Ferrari 488 GTE might be one of the oldest in the class but what it lacks in youth, it benefits by providing a great deal of data and knowledge for the tried and test model. To keep it at the sharp end of the results, in 2018 the car received an Evo kit to keep it competitive against its rivals.

The 488 GTE Evo in factory hands won the 2021 and 2022 LMGTE Pro categories with James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi at the wheel on both occasions. In the LMGTE AM category further success went the way of the Maranello brand in both 2019-20 and 2021 seasons.

In 2023, several teams harnessed the Prancing Horse in the swansong season for the GTE category. The #83 488 won in Fuji and managed a successful campaign to take third place in the final championship points standings. The other success came from the #54 car which sealed victory at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps – with Lilou Wadoux becoming the first ever female driver to win an FIA WEC race.
