Aston Martin is one of the major forces in GT racing at Le Mans and in the FIA WEC. In the 2019-20 season, the Aston Martin Racing squad run by Prodrive sealed a 1-2 in the GTE Pro championship with four wins between the two factory cars entered.
Success would continue even with the factory effort taking a step back. Aston Martin continued to support several of its privateer teams including TF Sport, D’Station, ORT and Northwest AMR. In 2022, the British marque once again returned to the top step in GTE racing – with British team TF Sport wining at Le Mans and Fuji to claim the overall championship title.
In 2023, in the final season for the Vantage AMR, a win eluded the teams campaigning the turbo-charged machine. A second place at Le Mans and third in Spa was secured by ORT by TF, while the season closer in Bahrain saw a rostrum round-up, with a second place finish for D’Station and third for Northwest AMR in Bahrain.
