Golden Great – First look at the Jota Sport 963

Following the first public showing of the Proton Competition Porsche 963 Hypercar before it hit the track in real life, Le Mans Ultimate followed the announced with another surprise for motorsport fans, with the work in progress photos of the fan favourite gold Jota Sport 963 LMDh.

One the most successful privateer teams on the FIA World Endurance Championship grid, Jota Sport took delivery of its Porsche back in May for the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The team made an instant impact, finishing sixth on the debut with the new car. The driver line-up, consisting of Antonio Felix Da Costa, Will Stevens and Yifei Ye also led the 24 hours of Le Mans early on before an accident by Ye dropped them down the pecking order.

Repaired to its full splendour – the Hertz Racing Gold machine will take to the track this weekend – with the 6 Hours of Monza lying in wait. Ahead of the race, Studio 397 and Motorsport Games showed a first pass of the Jota Sport car – giving racing game fans a first glimpse of the work in progress model
