From delivering driver swaps to building out full team functionality and unleashing a brand-new custom livery system, this update takes endurance racing in Le Mans Ultimate to the next level. Oh, and we’re also rounding out the 2024 FIA WEC grid with new cars and circuits. Let’s get into it.

Driver Swaps: True Endurance Racing Arrives
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a much-requested feature – live driver swaps. You can now share your car with a teammate during online endurance events and hand over control mid-race just like in real-world WEC.
Whether you’re managing pitstops, driving your stint, or cheering your teammate on, it’s a whole new level of teamwork and strategy. For now, driver swaps are available in special curated events while we monitor performance of this new feature and polish the experience further.
👉 Want to know when driver swap events are happening? Follow our website, social channels and check in-game announcements regularly.
Introducing Teams: Create, Manage & Race Together
We’ve launched a team management system powered by RaceControl. Build your squad, assign roles (Driver, Engineer, Manager, Team Owner), and register for events together. It’s built directly into the game – no spreadsheets or external tools required.
You’ll also see new DR/SR values attached to each lineup, meaning your team’s progress reflects your performance.

Custom Liveries Are Here
You asked, and we’ve delivered: custom liveries have landed in Le Mans Ultimate. Now you can design your car’s paint scheme and share it with all drivers and spectators during online events.
All players can use the showroom to try out the custom livery but only RaceControl Pro and Pro+ players can use our livery upload tool. When you choose a custom livery car, your beautiful machine will be automatically viewable by everyone in a session.
Support for private servers is coming in a future update.

With these additions, Le Mans Ultimate now features 11 circuits with 21 layouts, 11 Hypercars, 1 LMP2, 4 GTEs, and 9 LMGT3s – 25 cars in total.
Refinements, Fixes & More

What’s Next?
This isn’t the finish line – far from it. On June 13, we’ll be joining the ACO press conference in Le Mans and releasing another keynote video from Stephen Hood to reveal the next steps in the journey of Le Mans Ultimate. We’ll be sharing a first look at what comes after this update and you won’t want to miss it.
Until then, assemble your team, fine-tune those liveries, and get ready to race.
We’ll see you on track.
